Jack Burkart

RTG Postdoctoral Fellow - University of Wisconsin-Madison

Hi! I'm Jack, and welcome to my webpage! My CV contains most of the professional information you may want to know about me!

I am currently an RTG Postdoctoral Fellow for the Department of Mathematics at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. I started here in August 2021. My position is supported by the department's Analysis and PDE RTG.

I received my Ph.D in Mathematics from Stony Brook University in May 2021 under the supervision of Prof. Chris Bishop.

My current research interests revolve around complex analysis, dynamical systems, analysis on metric spaces, and the fractal geometry that shows up in these areas. I really enjoy problems I can "see"! I am also passionate about mathematics education for students of all levels, from middle school to the university level.
